Can't delete public folders

Well I have installed Exchange 2013 in a Server 2012 environment. I followed the following link when setting up my exchange server: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/14506.how-to-install-exchange-2013-on-windows-server-2012.aspx

I created a public folder mailbox, and proceeded to create a public folder. I open outlook and can see my public folders. My problem is when I create a new public folder, it get's created, but I cannot delete it. My user is set as an owner of the public folder created on the exchange server. I get a message stating; "Cannot delete this folder. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties to check your permissions for the folder. See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions. Some items cannot be deleted. They were either moved or already deleted, or access was denied.

My user is an owner of the parent folder therefore he should be able to delete any sub folders, but I get this message every time.

What's up with that!

Anyone help me see the light on this.
