Can't delete or add a new user mailbox.
I am logged into my windows server 2008. I am running exchange 2007 on the same server. For some reason I can't delete or add mailboxes anymore from my Administrator account. I have tried the inherit thing and that doesn't work, I reset 10 different emails using that method and I still can't delete a single one. Error: Active Directory operation failed on Domain.Name.Kw. This error is not retriable. Additional information: Insufficient access rights to perform the operation. Active directory response: 00002098: SecErr: DSID-03150BB9, problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS), data 0 The user has insufficient access rights. If anyone can lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

Hi, - Open ADUC - Locate the user having trouble don't forget to turn 'advance features' on by clicking view if you are not seeing security tab - Put a check mark where it says "incluse inheritable permissions from this object parent" or click restore Good luck Best Regards Don't forget to mark it as answer if it helps

It is the "Administrator" account that I am logged into. I have tried everything you guys have said, still having the same problem, I also can't edit any user in exchange. - Put a check mark where it says "incluse inheritable permissions from this object parent" or click restore I did that many times like I said in my original post, to no avail :'( Any other ideas, In ADUC shouldn't I have check marks under Microsoft exchange under the Administrator. I try to add full permissions but every restart they all disapeer?

I should note that everything worked fine a few days ago. I could add the accounts and delete the accounts, I could enable imap, pop..... I have insufficient access to everything now inside exchange. Anyone have some more ideas?

Are you able to create Active Directory user? If so, please make sure the administrator is member of Exchange administrators. Could you please prepare AD again? Could you please create a new OU via ADUC, try to create a new user mailbox in the OU? And could you please try to create a mailbox database, and create a test mailbox in the database?
