Can't configure Exchange's 2010 OWA on TMG 2010.
I've installed Exchange 2010 and it's working fine internally. I want to configure OWA access for external clients via TMG 2010 but couldn't succeed. I have made changes on Exchange's OWA to use HTTP instead HTTPS and also configure IIS not to use SSL because it's really pathetic to install certificates etc ect that's why I configure it to use HTTP. Well everything is working fine internally, but when I configure OWA on TMG 2010 it doesn't work it gives me error on "PATHPING to exchange/owa". When I type only my domain name then it works but you know I want to use OWA then when I type my domain.name/OWA then TMG gives error. Can you please guide me where I'm mistaking?? Please help me, when I publish other website on TMG gives no error and works fine then why it's not working with OWA? I'll appreciate your help.

Is pathping the only failuse when you click the "Test" button? I don't doubt you have a problem tyrying to ping "exchange/owa" since that's not a server name. On the "TO" tab of the publishing rule, the published site should be the FQDN of the machine running the CAS role. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

I have also edit "HOSTS" file and add my exchange ip address but no luck. Please help me Rich... Did you read my last reply? "Exchange/owa" simply cannot be used to "ping" your CAS role. Change the publishing rule (specifically, the "TO" tab) so the 1st edit box contains "mailing.tanibis.net" and the virtual directory ("/owa") isn't present. Think about what the error is telling you: it cannot "ping" the server name becasue the name cannot be resolved. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

If you are, how have you configured the Authentication Delegation? Does the method you've chosen match the CAS? Keep in mind that you can't delegate NTLM authentication. If the TMG is configured to use that it doesn't have the password to pass to the CAS. Try using Basic Authentication for the delegation. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
