Can't Telnet port 25 on few domains and this only happens on my Exchange Server
Last weekI had a virus that was running for a few days @ a remote office that I do not mange; that was sending out viruses. This of course put us on tons of RBLs and that. Now that this is all corrected I am having a few issues sending mail to a handful of domains. This is what is strange I can't telnet in to their domain from my Exchange server, but I can from an other computer behind my firewall. We had no issues with these domain before the virus.I have Exchange 2003 w/SP2, my domain is all good acording to dnsstuff.com. I really do not think it is anyting in my setup since nothing changed and my server is still virus free and running good. I can only think they are just stopping my @ their firewall even though I asked a few of them and they tell me it is my server that is not letting mail pass to them. If I can't telnet to their server on port 25, but I could a weekago that kind of tells me something is blocking me. Has this happend to anyone else? Thanks, Howie

Same problem here. I can't telnet to mail.toolnorth.com or ib1.charter.net on port 25 from the Exchange server. But I can do it from any other server or PCon the network behind the firewall. The serverreaches theInternet exactlythe same as every other server on the network. Windows 2003SBS Firewall is turned off. It's just strange.
