Hi Rizani MN,

Based on your description, I havequestions want to ask you.

1. Did this issue appear in all .xlsx files or a particular file?
2. Did you get any error messages?

Normally, if you cannot open any type of files. I suppose file types of Excel maybe in conflict or associated withanother application.

First you can try to associate the file types by right clicking on a document of that type, then select file type, it is inthat extensive list. If it is NOT in the list, there's a problem with the installation of either 7 or 2010, as that'smissing data.

I suggest you try this method and check if it works for you:
Please go to Control Panel- Programs- Default Programs- Set Default Programs, select Excel and then select Set this program as default. This will associate all files types listed under the excel program.

You also said it worked fine with Administrator account, I suggest you check the permission of Uer account in your computer.

Please be a bit more precise to explain your issue and provide error messages so that I can get more accurate solutions to this problem. Im glad to help and follow up your reply.
