Can''t grant user full mailbox access
Hi
When i try to grant a user lets bas full access to mailbox mirjam it doesn''t work.
In powershell i give the following command:
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-Mailbox -Identity "mirjam" | Add-MailboxPermission -User "bas" -AccessRights fullaccess

But when i try to open the mailbox in outlook i see this (sorry its in dutch)
it says can''t open set of folders Microsoft exchange is not availebel. there is a problem with the newtwork or .......

Just be patience, it may take bit time for DCs to replicate and see the changes you have done. For hint pay attention to DC your Exchange Server is talking too, also the
DC the outlook client is talking too, if they are not the same Domain controllers. Perhaps they have not communicate the changes been made ?
Also I would try o configure the profile you are using from another PC on different network and try to see if you can get there

Hello,
From your command output, it seems you have gave bas fullaccess permission on mailbox mirjam.
I suggest you go to test in OWA:
If bas can access mirjam's mailbox in OWA, this means the permission is working well, you can change Outlook to online mode or recreate Outlook profile to have a try.
If bas still cannot access mirjam's mailbox in OWA, run this command get-mailboxpermission to check the permission on mirjam.

When i open just 1 folder in outlook this works.

If you use other user to access the mailbox, will this issue occur?
Judge from the error information, this is not a permission error, so I suggest you use another user (who also have full access permission) to have a try.

The isue was not in AD.
But with on of my exchange server with mailbox role in dag GROUP.
After i switched over everything was working, i reinstalled the server and everything was fix today.
