Calendar responses are blank
I'm running threeExchange 2007 servers mailbox, mailbox, and hub/transport (I know ... not the best config having hub and transport together, but that's all the money they gave me) Internally all appointment requests and responses function normally. But, calendar responses destined for externalorganizations show up with ablank subject/body. This is obviously confusing for the externalorganizations who sent the appointments, because they are unable to tell whether our users accept/decline the request. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Charles

Update: When responding to a meeting request, if a user chooses to "Edit the response before sending", then the response is normal. It is only the user chooses "Send the response now", that the subject/body are blanked out and an empty response is sent. This occurs for all three response options "Accept", "Tentative", and "Decline" Once again any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Charles

Hello, I think it is external system who sent your user a normal subject/body meeting request, while your user response it with accept/decline by choosing send response now, the external system get the blank subject/body response. If your user response it by "Edit the response before sending", then the response is normal. If I misunderstood, please correct meimmediately. Based on the current informationm, please clarify me with below more questions: 1. Whether the problem only occur for certain external systems or all internet domain? 2. Whether the external system is exchange system or 3rd mail system? 3. Whether the issue can be reproduced from hotmail? According to my test, I sent to my company account a meeting request from my hotmail account(web live mail), when responding to hotmail with send response now via the outlook, my hotmail shows the response subject correct but neither without body. Please send your Exchange Server user a meeting request with a hotmail account for a test and let me know if the issue can be reproduced. If the issue can be reproduced, please attach the email header in a file and a screenshot of the blanked subject to me v-jassol at microsoft dot com. I will check if any problem cause it. Sincerely, Jason

Hi, did you ever solve this issue? I am seeing the same thing here when people are BCC'd on meeting responses to external organizations.
