Calendar Sharing using Security Groups
I have a mixed Exchange 2007 & Exchange 2003 environment with multiple AD domains. I am having an issue whereby if a users shares a calendar with a mail enabled security group when a member of this security group tries to access the shared calendar they receive the "Unable to display the folder. The Calendar Folder Could Not Be Found". If I add a user directly e.g. not via group membership then the calendar can be opened. This issue occurs regardless of whether the mailbox is homed on an Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2007 server. I have waited several hours after adding the permissions and that seems to have made no difference.

Is this group a Universal Security Group?-- Ed Crowley MVP"There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems.". Yes the Group is a universal group. I have made some progress which points to perhaps a GC isssue which I have not yet been able to fully resolve. However, if I use a new Universal group in the same domain as the user account which is associated to the mailbox and add members to this Group the calendar can be opened OK. This is an acceptable workaround for now as I will eventually consolidate domains anyhow. Not sure why this diesn't work if the Universal Group is not in the same domain as the user account.
