Calculating Sizing for E2010 Mailbox Server
I'm just starting the planning process for a migration from E2003 to E2010. It looks like I need to know the number of mail messages my users send/receive each day. How can I get a report on that for a given mailbox store?

Use the Exchange Profile Analyzer: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=8F575F60-BD80-44AA-858B-A1F721108FAD&displaylang=en then input the results in the Storage calculator: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2009/11/09/453117.aspxTim Harrington - Catapult Systems - http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com

Hi, There is no such a feature in Exchange natively to calculate the send/receive mails per day. You could use SCOM with Exchange management pack, or 3rd party software like Quest and Promodag. Please refer to the following thread for more information: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrmonitoring/thread/372162da-f532-4205-904d-3b7b6ae4fcd0 If you would like to plan the storage, you could use the tool provided by Tim above. Thanks, Elvis
