CalCheck Results - what do they mean?
Good morning all, Quick one, we're running CalCheck on a few of our calendars to identify any corrupted events, however a few of the reported errors don't make sense to me The main being Unable to access this item's attachment table. Error: 80040305 What exactly is wrong with this particular event that it presents this error? We have a lot of them on this particular calendar. Any help would be greatly appreciative - running Exchange 2007 with latest RU and SP

Thanks. First this message might be the issue of missing attachments in Outlook or OWA. Since it is recurring meetings, we may see many errors for each occurrence. You may try the know issue here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/954684 Or use MFCMAPI tool for double check. Steps: - download MFCMapi http://mfcmapi.codeplex.com - Open MFCMapi, select "session", "Logon and Display Store Table", choose your profile. - Double click your mailbox, expand "Root-Mailbox", "IPM_SUBTREE", "Your Folder" - Double click your folder and find the abnormal mail - Right click and choose 'Display attachment table' If it is blank box, that means no attachment in the message; or the attachment is missing and cannot be recovered. - Click the attachment and you will find 'PR_ATTACHMENT_HIDDEN, PidTagAttachmentHidden' is tue - Double click it then clear "Boolean" check box, then the value will be change to false. - Save it, Close MFCMAPI , Close and Reopen Outlook -Now we should be able to see the attachments in Outlook Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support

Thanks. The events don't seem to have an attachment to them at all. There are many separate events; not just repeat instances of the same recurring. I don't believe these events ever had an attachment in them, could it be a false positive? There are also a range of errors such as this ERROR: Recurrence Exception Start Time occurs before the start of the series. This could cause a hang or crash in Outlook.

Then how about if you check the property in MFCmapi tool? Please compare the value with a normal meeting and a problem one.
