Cached mode outlook more up to date than OWA
Hi, We've got a user who has several sent items from last week that are currently showing in her Outlook client however they are not appearing on there OWA. The emails reached the recipients. I'm thinking of saving the OST off, creating a new profile then importing the OST ignoring dupluicates. Before doing this I'm wondering how the messages have not not made it to the Exchange store/OWA? Anyone able to assist? Thanks Soops

OK, it appears this has affected more than one user now. Mail missing on OWA but clients are up to date. All using MAP on OL 2007? Anyone able to give me a pointer? Thanks Soops

OK, further investigations appear to have concluded that last week we had a CCR failover which has caused some data loss. I think this has caused the Outlook clients to have the up to date information however when we moved from one server to the other these couple of users experienced data loss. We are set to best "availability" failover, thats 6 logs that can be skipped, guess this explains the mssing info. My plan to recover is as follows: Export clients mail to PST Remove client outlook profile Create new outlook profile without cached mode Import PST from above Re-enable cached mode. Its a little labourour but as its only a couple of users it seems like the only option. If anytone has thoughts please let me know
