CSV file giving weird numeric values after saving file

Hi 

CSV file is showing a  weird numeric values after saving file . Attaching screenshots for reference . Kindly provide the solution required for same.

Hi,

what is your original value? It Looks like that Excel is transforming the value to Floating Point.

740278550 original value , every-time i save the file it converts the same to  weird Floating Point..I want the numeric values to remain numeric and do not change to something else . Please assist.

Hi,

I think you must Change the field type to Text. Then Excel will write this field as Text.

Hi,

As far as I know, if we enter a long number of value in the Excel, it'll display as scientific notation format. The Scientific format displays a number in exponential notation, replacing part of the number with E+n, where E (which stands for Exponent) multiplies the preceding number by 10 to the nth power. For example, a 2-decimal Scientific format displays 12345678901 as 1.23E+10, which is 1.23 times 10 to the 10th power.

Thus, if we want to show original value, please change it to number format, see image below:
