CRM 2011 Outlook integration issue - Appointments in Outlook not syncing with CRM Activities

Hi,

We have an issue where new users created since Aug 2014 are unable to have their Outlook appointments appear under CRM activities like they should after they "Set regarding" that appointment.

This is a feature that we have been using for years with no problem so it must be related to something that has changed since Aug 2014 - but just not sure where.

We used CRM 2011 On premise, and Outlook 2013 on Win 8.1.  (Win 8.1 is the only thing I can think of that has been new since that time).

We are on Rollup 6 and 14. (Both old and new users are exactly the same).

Have been researching for Months with no result.

Anyone have any ideas?
