CAS server for ECP only

Hi All

I have 2 multi-role servers and a hardware load balancer to balance client traffic between them.
I wish to disable ECP to client, so I installed a 3rd CAS server to use as a management server only.
It is not using the same CAS dns name so the load balancer never passes traffic to it. The intention was that administrators would use the server name directly to access the ECP.

I turned ecp admin off on my 2 main CAS servers.

How do I stop Outlook clients accessing the management CAS server? They seem to keep finding it.

Thanks in advance

Outlook requires it for configuring Out of Office, looking up free-busy data, and all other self-service tasks like mobile device administration and distribution group management.

Are you saying, I can't prevent Outlook clients from finding and accessing the Management CAS?

You could put in a firewall or reverse proxy that blocks the URL.

I would set the autodiscoverURI on the MGMT CAS to the *same* SCP you set for the other CAS which I assume is a load balanced name space that clients connect to.

So, on the MGMT CAS:

Set-ClientAccessServer -Identity <MGMT CAS> -AutoDiscoverServiceInternalUri https://loadbalanced.domain.com/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml
