Bookmark is not valid while opening up a AddressList in Exchange 2003
I have encountered a strange issue, where most of the user's who select a particular address list in the GAL get an error saying "The Bookmark is not valid" Now i dont get the error message but I am using outlook 2003 and most of the user's who get this error are on outlook 2007. So what I did was I created a outlook 2003 profile for a user who got the error while using outlook 2007 and when i did that in 2003 and selected the additional Addresslist I did not see the error and I was able to see the users in the addresslist. Does anyone know what the issue might be? Thanks!!

Update ================ I dont think its a client issue because I did a small test. I made the problem user who could not open up the address list login to a Test machine and used outlook 2003 to configure his mailbox and he still could not see the user's in the additional address-list Then I configured the same user's profile on my machine while I was logged into with my credentials (I am an exchange admin) I configured his profile using outlook 2003 and I could see the user's of that particular address-list without a problem. So this is certainly not a client issue but it looks like this is a permission issue, mind you the end user can see the user's in the default address list perfectly alright without any problem its just this additional address list they are having a issue with? Any idea where the permissions might be messed up?? Thanks!

Hi, I’d like to know how many GC/DC in the environment? Please try to force replication between domain controllers. Please try to check event 2080 from your Exchange Server to see if all the DCs list there. Also you can post the detail information of Event 2080 here. If that do not help, then please try to delete GAL and then re-create GAL again.
