Booking a Room Resource for More Than 6 Months
We've setup some of our equipment and conference rooms as "resources" in Exchange that can be checked out/reserved. Unfortunately, the default is to limit the scheduling of such resources to six months out.
I read multiple tutorials/articles on setting this up but I never read about this limitation and I'm not finding out to extend it. According to
this TechNet Exchange forum posting, it's not possible. However, I read the following excerpt on
an article at msexchangeteam.com: "Currently the booking window will be limited to 6 months. This can be changed but it's not recommended."
My question: HOW do you change that? (The interwebz aren't helping in my quest to find an answer to said question.)
Also, does anyone know if this is changes in Exchange 2010?

Hi,
Please change the BookingWindowInMonths parameter to the value as you need.
For more information, please refer to the below article:
Configuring Auto Accept Agent
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123609(EXCHG.65).aspx
In Exchange 2010, the parameter has been changed to BookingWindowInDays, you can set any value to it. If value is set to 0, the resource can be reserved at any date in the future.
Thanks
Allen
