Blocking the auto forward outlook rules for all users to all external Domains
Hi Team I am trying to implement to block or disabled the auto forward outlook rules to all my end users who are all tying to send their email to their personal Email address (Outside Exchange Organization) How to set the block for auto forward only for external Email Address from outlook rules.? Am having only one Domain which is running in Exchange 2007. I Checked the Remote Domain and found the properties of Remote Domain ---> Allow Automatic Forward is unchecked ----if i checked that option, will it be blocked from outlook auto forward rules in entire orgnaization?

Hi, Bydefault automatic forwarding is blocked in Exchange 2007 for outlook clients. Please refer below section from KB article (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996309(EXCHG.80).aspx) Allow automatic forward A client e-mail program may have a rule set to automatically forward particular messages to another e-mail address. If you select this option, automatic forwards are sent to the remote domain. By default, this option isn't selected and automatic forwards aren't sent to any recipient in any remote domain Quote "I Checked the Remote Domain and found the properties of Remote Domain ---> Allow Automatic Forward is unchecked ----if i checked that option, will it be blocked from outlook auto forward rules in entire orgnaization?" Yes, it work for client email automatic forwarding.Anil
