Blocking all inbound mail except one domain for specific user?
Hello, we are using exchange 2003. I would like to know if for a specific user we can block all inbound mail except one external domain? I went to exchange General and restricted inbound mail from authenticated users only. I then added a contact to active directory and under email address I tried the following formats: @domain.com, domain.com and *@domain.com. I tested, no luck, mail was rejected from the allowed domain. Maybe I am not doing this right? I would hope that I can make an exception with an entire domain. Thanks in advance.

Hi,As I know, the contact cannot be created as you tried (*@domain.com). For just a specific user can receive only one external domain mail, I think you can only set it in user's Exchange General and mail restriction.Did you try to not select the "from authenticated users only" and select "Only from", add the contact? If it works, there is a limitation, you can just add contacts which belongs the allowed domain one by one.And you can create a Query-Based Distribution Groups to include the contacts. For receive internal mails for the specific user, you can create another Query-Based Distribution Groups to include all internal mailbox.
