Blind copy a group, but individual recipients see their address
I need to setup a group to where when I email them, each individual that gets the email sees there name in the To or CC field, but doesn't see anyone else that's in the group. I'm running Exchange 2007 with Office 2007 Pro for all my users.

The way it works is that you put your own address in the To field and put all other addresses in the Bcc field. The recipients do NOT see their address or anyone else's aprt from yours as both To & From.I.T. Manager International House London

You can't do that with a BCC. I think what you are trying to do is a mail merge, where lots of individual messages are sent, rather than one single message to a group.Outlook Web Access For PDA , OWA For WAP www.owa-pda.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m

You can't just put the group in the BCC field?

When you put the group in the BCC field, there is nothing in the TO field. My users want the people in the group they email to see their(the recipients) email address. I've read there are ways of doing this with 3rd party apps where it sends an email to everyone in the group, but I'd rather not purchase additional software if I can avoid it.

It does sound like this is something that would normally be addressed by using a mail merge operation to send an individual message to each user. I suspect if it could be done without the 3rd party apps, those apps probably wouldn't exist.

You say you have Office 2007. You can use Word to do a mail merge. There are several tutorials on the web.Outlook Web Access For PDA , OWA For WAP www.owa-pda.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m
