Best practice for Recipient Filtering of Existing but Hidden users?
Hi, "Block messages sent to recipients that do not exist in the directory" option does not include hidden from GAL recipients... (as they are still part of the directory) should I list all the "Existing but Hidden from GAL users" (usualy my disabled users, which I'm not ready to delete yet) in the "Block messages sent to the following recipients:" section, in order to avoid extra routing? (will make my quarantine folder smaller) ;) Thanks!it-works!

Or you could remove the mailbox from the user (it'll remain in the database until it's expiry time elapses). If you try managing this with the blocked senders list you'll eventually run into a problem when (not if) you forget to remove an address from the list before you assign it to a new mailbox. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
