Basic Setup Help
Hi Everyone,I am trying to set up a new server running SBS 2003 SP1 with Microsoft Exchange 2003 on the server and Outlook 2003 on the client machine. I have been through all the wizards, 2 SBS books, searched on Google and cannot find anything to help me configure my Exchange Server and Outlook 2003 in a very basic way. What I am trying to do is set up 1 email inbox that downloads messages off my Internet server (hosted remotely and not by us). I need this email inbox to be accessible by all the client machines so that all client machines will be able to see what email messages have been answered, deleted, etc. I do not need more than 1 email box. I cannot seem to find a reference that says: 1) Set your users on your server up like this. 2) Set you Exchange Server like this. 3) Set your client computers' Outlook 2003 like this. Something short and simple to get the job done, with step-by-step instructions. I am very computer literate, but I am totally new to SBS and Microsoft Exchange and have no idea what I am doing. I am a small business owner and am trying to avoid having to go out and get a tech to come in and set this up for me. If anyone has any ideas where I can find a good basic book, blog, forum thread, etc, I would be VERY appreciative. Thanks for any help you can provide!Greg
