Does using Outlook anywhere use a lot of bandwidth? I have a user who will be connecting to our exchange server over a "High Speed" mobile connection, however it is limited to 15GB of usage per month. The user will only be sending/receiving roughly 40 emails a day, but only 22 days out of the month. Some of which will have the odd small attachment (A Three page PDF document) Will 15Gb be enough for this? Does Outlook anywhere use much bandwidth when idle? Thanks. James

A user with 40 Sent/receive emails generally comes under Medium users band width profile category. So 15GB will be more than enough for Outlook anywhere if your usage is limited to 40 - 50 emails a day. 15G should be enough for this computer, you can refer to the following informaiton to calculate it: for Outlook 2007 in Cached mode and Outlook Anywhere, which work off a local copy of the user mailbox, there is negligible traffic associated with reading or deleting mail - as these actions work against the local copy - but every mail received is downloaded to the client. In the table below, all values are in Kilobytes/day/user. I've broken out the sending portion from the other actions (labeled as 'aggregate').
