BCM v4.00.12929.00 gives error upon attempting import of csv or xlsx file

I recently did the latest upgrade to BCM for Office 2013 and since then, am not able to import data. I saved the files as xlsx and also as csv and I get an error that says "unable to open file" . . .

Any insight?????

I just tried shutting down BCM and also Outlook - when I opened it back up - the import worked fine!

I can't explain it - but now it works fine?????

Hi,

I can't tell exactly why it didn't work at first, there are some possibilities.

After the install of the add-ins, you may need to quit Outlook to make it work well. It is common that we need to shut down the software or even reboot the computer to make the new installed tool work.

It could also be caused if some components didn't get loaded correctly.

The good thing is it works fine now.
