Availability address space
HiI receive a lot of the following errors in the eventlog:Event ID: 4011Source: MSExchange AvailabilityCategory: Availability Service Description:Process 6840[w3wp.exe:/LM/W3SVC/1427802313/Root/EWS-1-128904655171028870]: Configuration for forestyourdomain.com was not found in Active Directory. Run the Add-AvailabilityAddressSpace command in the Exchange Management Shell for an Exchange Server 2003 Active Directory forest.I have created some contacts for yourdomain.com, and there are also forwardings to these contacts, but thats all. There is no interoperability between the local domain and yourdomain.com. What can I do to eliminate these errors? Thanks and regardsPeter

Hello LeifThanks for answering.I know this article, but I don't want to share free/busy data across forests! What I need is to eliminate these errors, or at least to understand why Exchange tries to get free/busy data of the domain "yourdomain.com".RegardsPeter

Hi,That's the known issue. In current Exchange 2007 environment, if an object has email address that belongs to a foreign SMTP domain, Availability service will try to retrieve free/busy information from this domain, and in case foreign SMTP domain has not been configured for cross-forest free/busy access, the event 4011 will be reported.Since there is no direct relationship between the exchange forest and this external address, this error is expected and can be safely ignored. In the coming versions of Exchange, that will be fixed. Thank you for your understanding.ThanksAllen
