Automatically Show New Public Folder in the Global Address List in Exchange 2003
I need some help on how to automatically show a new Public Folder created with Outlook in theGlobal Address List with Exchange 2003. When a user uses Outlook to create a Public Folder, it is automatically mail enabled. However, to show up in the Global Address List, an administrator has to use Exchange System Manager, view the properties of the new Public Folder, go to the Exchange Advanced tab, and uncheck Hide from Exchange address lists. Is therea way to make this default?

I don't think so. This article describes what you've already stated, that it's the detault and makes no mention of changing this behavior. My only suggestion would be to script soemthign that runs on a schedule to enable them for you.
