Autoforwarding
Is there anyway in 2003 exchnage to see any autoforwarding rules that have been set up to send data to non corporate mailboxes? And do you have any policy on auto forwarding in your setups?

Hi, Automatic forwarding is disabled by default in Exchange server 2003 - see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/266166 Most companies does not allow this. Leif

Leif For piece of mind, how can I check it hasnt be enabled. How would you set it up in Outlook? Would that show whether or not it is enabled? And if it has been enabled, is there anyway to see all rules across the email estate that have been setup?

Hi, The link I posted in my first reply will tell you if enabled or not. If enablet the users can create Outlook rules that forward mails to any outside e-mail address Leif

So I assume that means its enabled here? The key now is to see how many of these things have been setup across the email estate? Can that be done via any report on bulk, or if worse comes to the worse via aduc active directory users and computers? But I have so many to check manually going in outlook is not an option.

Hi, I am pretty sure that you can't make a list of all forwarding rules in an Exchange 2003 organization. Leif

Hi, I am pretty sure that you can't make a list of all forwarding rules in an Exchange 2003 organization. Leif So theres no way an exchange admin can see what autoforwarding is going on in his environment? Thats a bit poor, and would indicate the use of autoforwarding in itself is a risk if theres no way to monitor it.
