Autodiscovery issues error 1013 and 1006
Hi all, I run a Exchange 2007 on a SBS 2008 server for a few users and need to get the autodiscovery service running simply to migrate over to Office 365. I`m testing using the ExRCA tool and stuck on a 401 unauthorized response error message stating that if failed on obtaining an autodiscovery xml response. I suspect that the problem is to do with the fact that I am having to use a dynamic dns fqdn for the SBS/mail server, and this fqdn isn`t present as the internal/external uri for the autodiscovery (SSL cert has been installed for the dynamic dns site and working ok) I`ve looked through the documentation and tried deleting/creating autodiscovery virtualdirectories etc but to be honest I`m out of my depth. I`m from a Cisco background and this is starting to get well beyond my limited MS skills!!!!! The alternative is to now buy an ost to pst conversion software and manually start uploading users pst files to Office 365 which I`d like to avoid. Any help would be really appreciated Andy

You can fix Autodiscovery erro 110 and 1006 by going through the steps mentioned here http://gillwald.co.uk/home/exchange-server/2010-2/fix-autodiscover-service-error-1013-and-1006 Otherwise you can follow the post at : http://www.experts-exchange.com/Microsoft/Server_Applications/Q_25276929.html You do have the option of converting ost to pst as well to do so you can download a good tool from http://www.nucleustechnologies.com/exchange-ost-recovery.html

You should not use dynamic dns. It should always be Static.Gulab Prasad, gulab@exchangeranger.com My Blog | Z-Hire Employee Provisioning App
