Autodiscover not returning correct login information
Hi
we have an irritating problem with our exchange 2010 sp1 server. Autodiscover works fine, but it returns a default username of the person's primary email address. Our upn is different, so that won't work. they have to know to change it.
We have multiple suffixes hosted on a single domain, so I can't simply set the upn to match the primary email.
so
primary email=bob.findlay@xxx.ac.uk
upn=findlay@yyy.ac.uk
autodiscover returns bob.findlay@xxx.ac.uk as the account name, which won't work.
any ideas?Bob

Hi Bob,
Autodiscover return the user properties stored in AD. You may query it via Get-Mailbox -id <> |FL. The user name displaying in Outlook profile will match Name value based on my local test.
