I have both set this property and installed SP3, and this problem persists.

Direct, yes. Useful, no. I am seeing it when I send an autodiscover request. I am internal. I am the only user, it is a test server. However, the exchange server at my office also returns this same error on the response. Yes, I can log in to OWA.

Hi, Please install a outlook client in your test machine, then run the auto configuration test: a. Open Outlook, on the windows notification area, right click outlook icon and choose "Test E-mail AutoConfirguation" b. Uncheck the options "Use Guessmart" and "Secure Guessmart Authentication". Click test. c. In Log tab, please post the information here for further research. I have Outlook 2007 installed, but that option is not present in the context menu for the notification icon. I did run the Autodiscover test from www.testexchangeconnectivity.com. The results where as follows: Attempting the Autodiscover and Exchange ActiveSync test (if requested). Testing of Autodiscover for Exchange ActiveSync failed. Test Steps Attempting each method of contacting the Autodiscover service. The Autodiscover service couldn't be contacted successfully by any method.
