Autodiscover Redirection Multiple Domain Used URL Name
Hi, I have a Exchange 2007 with multiple domains, let say domain.com is my default domain and I have domain1.com, domain2.com.... I would like to use the Autodiscover Redirection for all the domains domain1.com, domain2.com. I would like to know if we need absolutly a new ip on the Exchange server to use the Autodiscover Rediction. Why I can not create a new web site that listen on the port 80 (the same ip of my webaccess) with the host name autodiscover.domain1.com and redirected this website to https://mail.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml. Thanks DS

Hi, You could make use of SRV records, there is a lot more information about the Autodiscover service here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb332063(EXCHG.80).aspx /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.

Hi Martin, You're right, this is a good way. I created SRV records for all my domains, the Test Autoconfiguration succeeded but the out of the office and the free/busy are not working. Do you have any idea? Thanks for your help DS

Hi, Did you configure the Exchange webservices as well according to the document? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb332063(EXCHG.80).aspx#HowtoConfigureExchangeServices Also there is a outlook patch that needs to be installed if you are using Outlook 2007, more information about that here: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=939184 /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.
