I have a work sheet with simple drop down values, Y and N, where the default value is N. Once an update is created and the value changes from N to Y or Y to N, I want that value to auto populate in another work sheet. I am doing multiple worksheets for individual sections at my work. For each section they will have the same option for the Y or N, but I want those values to auto populate on a master sheet, so I do not have to look up the individual section sheets. I am trying to match exact data to data.

I have read many post that are close, but I am not looking for a range of values. I just want value for cell B3 on worksheet 2 to be the same value for G3 on worksheet 1.

Based on your description, did you mean you wanted to auto fill the G3 value of Worksheet1 depending on the change in B3 value of Worksheet2?

If yes, you can use the formula in G3 =Sheet2!B3, as shown in the following figure:
