You can create a server side rule from Outllook.Menu Tools1. Rules and Alerts 2. New Rule 3. Select "check messages when they arrive" and click "Next"4. do not select anything in the next window and confirm the warning message that this rule will be applied to every message you receive5. select "Have server reply using a specific message" 6. Click on "a specific message" to editthe message. If you want you can add additional recipients to the CC or BCC field.Raj

Would this mean the PC that i set this rule on must remain turned and logged on? If yes then this is not what im after.

Hi,The pc does not have to be turned on to autorespond to a message. Remember for this to work the Exchange server must be configured to allow automatic replies.Leif
