AutoText / Building blocks not saving Word 2013

We just moved an office from Office 2007 to Office 2013. We copied over their buildingblocks.dotx file so they can use their autotext entries that made in 2007. Since the new Office was installed, when they try to save new autotext entries... they are there until Office is closed out and reopened. I have went in and turned off all add-ons thinking it was adobe etc with no luck. I have also created a blank building blocks file and that didn't work either I have also tried saving to the normal.dotm

I think the biggest problem is it doesn't ask me to save the changes to my building blocks when I close out of Word. I have read several articles online and have tried just about everything but no luck. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Please try to rename the Normal.dotm location:C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\ Normal.dotm

And create a new autotext to test.
