AutoDiscovery - trying to get OOF and Scheduling Assistant to work from the Internet
I've read the white paper on setting up AutoDiscovery and choose Scenario Two - Single Cert using SRV records in DNS. Outlook 2007 has been upgraded to current levels, so I'm assuming I don't need a hot fix. It wouldn't let me apply the "fix for Autodiscovery and SRV records: hot fix when I tried on a test machine. I've updated the SCP to point to https://autodiscover.<my domain>/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml. I've updated my ExternalURL to be my CAS server in the following cmdlets: Get-WebServicesVirtualDirectory Get-OabVirtualDirectory My SRV record points to the CAS server. The cmdlet Get-AutodiscoverVirtualDirectory returns blanks for InternalURL and ExternalURL. I haven't found much information on this, and no instructions to change it. When I open Outlook 2007 from the Internet I can access my mailbox after logging on. But when I attempt to access OOF or Scheduling Assistant it says the server is currently unavailable. I also get warnings the my account was "redirected to this website for settings." There's an option to "not ask again", and I think from documentation that this is normal. The main problem appears that OOF doesn't work. For Scheduling Assistant, the message states "Suggestions cannot be provided because free/busy data could not be retrieved." This appears after repeated warnings regarding the redirection. Thanks, Tao
