Authorized Sender inheritance in nested Distribution List.
I have a situation to discuss. We have created a Distribution list XYZ with authorized sender as user1. I created another distribution list called ABC with authorized sender as user2 only. Then I added ABC distribution list as a member of XYZ distribution list (Nested DL). When user1 who is authorized sender of XYZ send an email to ABC, the email get rejected saying you are not authorized to send for ABC. My question is it possible that the parent DL authorized senders are automatically inherited or allowed as authorized sender for all nested child distribution lists? Please let me know how it can be possible? We are using Exchange 2007.

Try using PF Dave Admin and check you have any option to Propagate the permissions If not than you have to assign the permissions manually. Cheers,Gulab | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2010 | MCTS-MCITP Messaging: 2007 | MCC 2011 | Skype: Gulab.Mallah
