Audit mail messages sent to Exchange 2003 from a specific domain
Hello, For internal audit purposes, I am looking for a solution to be able to capture a copy of every mail message sent from a specific domain(s) to our Exchange 2003 server. My basic functionality requirement is: 1) Can be a nightly batch process if it is easier 2) Grab a copy of all mail notes sent to our environment and either mail them to a specific address or drop them into a shared folder. 3)Volume of such mail will be 1-100 a day probably. Any insights are appreciated. John

Nothing native can do that. You would have to journal the entire store and then filter the messages using a third party journaling application. I don't think even something like ivasoft Selective Journaling can do that because it operates on a per user basis, not a per domain basis. You need to capture them at the journaling (which is the transport layer) level, anything else is going to be too late to satisfy any kind of audit. Hi John, Agree with Simon, there is no native way to achieve your goal. You have to journal all the emails in the entire store.
