Attach Disclaimer to outbound emails based on domain name.
Is there a way in Exchange 2007 to add a legal disclaimer to the end of every message that goes out of the Exchange Organization, but change the text based on the domain name it was sent from?We have 20+ domains in our Exchange environment. We want to be able to append to the end of each email a message, but it needs to be based on the domain the message is coming from. Ifit comes from abc.com, then a standard English message. If it comes from abc.fr then we want the message in French, etc.My understanding is that you can add a disclaimer, but it is an all or nothing thing. Either you add it or you don't, and you can't specify a domain to add it to.I am open for suggestions and insight on this problem.

You can do so but you need to create 20+ transport rules, each for a domain to specify disclaimer in specific language. An example: Create a transport rules for domain abc.fr with two conditions and an action... Condition: Set to user inside or outside organization = Outside When the from address contains specific words = abc.fr Action: Append disclaimer text using font, size, color, with separator and fallback to action if unable to apply = YourDisclaimer Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
