Hello, I have very large mailboxes on my server and want to know whats the best archieveing software to use or does exchange have any build in ? I also have a user whose mailbox is in excess of 18GB and Executive of course. Is there a way I can setup another box and still have him access his old emails? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Andrew

Hi Per my known, there is no archieving software build in for exchange 2003.As normal, we archieve the user's email on local as PST file. So, the user just could access his old email on special client.If you want the user could access the old email anywhere, you could create a new account and mailbox, and then you could user exmerge to migrate the old email into it, and then give the full access permission for the user's old account, so he could access the new mailbox and view his old email anywhere. Yet, it is complex.Other informaion, exchange 2010 have a new feature "online archieving" could meet your target.Regards!gavin
