How can i add a tag or some mark to Approval Request for sorting by Sourse Rule?
( We have a lot of Transport Rules for Message Moderation , and they are asking - how to sort approval requests by some tag or may be Header Value)
I've tried to Create Transport Rule for Message Type: Approval Request and add action to Change Subject of Request or set Header - but it is not working for Incoming Approval Requests... Rule working only if i press Reject in Approval Request - and reply returned to user have this info - but how to change/mark Initial incoming Approva
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your question.
When we create a transport rule, we could click more option to add multiple tag to resource transport rule, as the following snapshot:
By this issue, we suggest you make sure the transport rule has created correctly.
For not working for inbound message flow, we could make this transport rule has worked for inbound message flow. Then restart Microsoft Exchange Transport rule to check if the issue persist.
If not, please post the details of this transport rule to us for troubleshooting.
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
Best Regard,
Jim
Hi,
I know about all options :) I've tried from GUI & Powershell but result the same.
U can find my Rule below this text. After creation i restarted Transport Services but no luck ^(
This is Applied only when sending rejection message AFTER approval. But when i receive approval request i can't see any modifications. :(
( Second screenshot - rejection message received by user - i need something like this for initial Approval Request )
Please post the original approval message for our troubleshooting. Because I have any confusion.
For example:
What did you mean approval message?
Did you mean you type reject in subject
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
