Appointment pains: send on behalf for 2 secretarys, why would it behave that way ?
Hello Board, i am lost again. Yesterday, a second secretary(2) was granted the same rights as the first secretary(1): send on behalf rights, given with EMC on bosse's account publishing editor rights on bosse's calendar (publishing editor with exfolders means:) read: full details delete: all write: create items, subfolders, edit own, edit all other: folder visible now here comes the thing i dont understand, and bores anyone: secretary1 creates appointment within bosse's calendar.she puts herself in as optional attendant. secretary2 gets the replys from the attendants : like agreed or not i checked some details from the mail's secretary2 gets back, and found: PR_RECEIVED_BY_NAME : secretary2 PR_SENT_REPRESENTING_NAME : secretary1 PR_RCVD_REPRESENTING_NAME : boss is this behaviour correct ? i always thought the bosses calendar ( inbox) is going to handle that kind of appointment-answer-mails automatically ? any enlightenment would make me glad. any hint for supressing those mails to secretary2 even more ;) thank you!

Hi, May I know what do you concerned about? Generally a response message of a meeting request is Accepted, or Declined. Meeting organizer does not need to response those response messages. So what does it mean by "handle that kind of appointment-answer-mails automatically"? Marking the replies that has answered the question may help others who have got the same or a similar question.

with "handle that kind of appointment-answer-mails automatically" i meant that a mail with for example an "acceptance" of the appointment is processed during receivement by exchange, and ends up as info on the appointment within the calendar itself. my remaining question regarding this thread here is: can i check / set this outlook delegate option "send meeting requests to delegates" with some admin tools ? EMC ? Powershell ?
