Anyway to export resource mailbox contents to another resource mailbox? Ref: TRfrm
Exchange 2007 Sp2 and Exchange 2010 SP1
We are migrating from Exchange 2007 to 2010.Most of the current RESOURCE mailboxes in 2007 wehre migrated from Exchange 2000. After the migration to 2007 ramdom errors take place when users schedule meetings. It alows overbooking the same room, when users
cancel their meetings it does not update the attendants calendar, etc. We also created some Resource mailboxes in Exchange 2007 and those have never had any issues. I posted question on these forums about it and since I am not able to replicate the issue,
it has been hard to analyze. Therefore, I decide that if there is a way to export those calendars from the resource meetings and import them into a brand new Exchange 2010 resource account then we could start with a clean slate.
Thanks in advance
John

Hi John,
You can run Export-Mailbox to export the items to pst file in Exchange 2007, e.g. Export-Mailbox "resource name" -PSTFolderPath
c:\pst\room.pst
Details:
Export-Mailbox

Then run the New-MailboxImportRequest to import pst items to mailbox, e.g.
New-MailboxImportRequest -Mailbox "resoure name" -FilePath
\\servername\room.pst
Details:
New-MailboxImportRequest
