Analysis Button in Xls2007, Where to find in Xls2011 for Mac?

We were using Excel 2007 (12.0.675.50000) SP3 MSO (12.0.6683.5000)

There is an "Analysis" button at the end of a ribbon of xls file.

After clicking it, a window named "Data analysis" will pop-up with a list box of "Analysis Tools" to choose from.

We have now switched to Office 2011 for Mac.

And we can't find the same "Analysis" function.

I wrote to Frontline Solver cause I thought its a "Analysis Tool Pak" issue

And they replied:

"That's not our addon. It belongs to Microsoft I believe."

Can anyone advise what we should do?

Thank you so much.

Hello,

As far as I know, the Data analysis is a build-in add-in of Office, we need to enable it and then the tab will disappear.

Steps: After you install Service Pack 1

  1. Start Excel.
  2. Click Tools, and then select Add-Ins.
  3. Click to select the check box for Solver.Xlam.
  4. Click OK.
