Hello,

Recently I am started getting Sync error "An error occurred while attempting to sync this section or notebook. (Error code: 0xE402006D)" 

I tried get help (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Troubleshoot-synchronization-errors-in-OneNote-299495ef-66d1-448f-90c1-b785a6968d45?ver=14&app=onenote.exe&CorrelationId=627b1124-f87c-4df2-999a-d45b3ee6b07d&ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US) suggestion - but it not help.

Any one have any suggestions?

Hi Venky,

Where are your notebooks stored? On OneDrive or SharePoint site?

OneNote uses a local cache file to improve performance, reliability and sharing. When syncing, it's syncing the local cache. If the local cache is corrupt, the sync issue may occur. To troubleshoot the issue, we can try starting OneNote with /safeboot command and then select Delete Notebook Cache button to clear the local cache. To do this, exit OneNote, press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type onenote /safeboot and press Enter. In the opened dialog, click Delete Notebook Cache button.

Please note: Any changes not synchronized will be lost. Please make sure you have all changes synced. In addition, this command will close all opened notebooks, you have to reopen them later.
