Allow blocked file extension on particular mailbox - exchange 2010 and 2013
is there a way to allow particular blocked file type only on a specific mailbox , specifically I need to allow *.js file only for one particular  user in exchange 2010 OWA .Ple

Hi

It all depends on your SPAM filter gateway setup

There is options in most of the spam filters where we can create a separate group , create separate policy and exception for them

But from exchange antispam there is no option to allow only for a particular user

Thanks for your response but this is to be done in our inbound email system as opposed to gateway servers , other day this user saved a *.js file in owa as draft email, as of now i do see this email in owa but got no way to download a copy as it says attachment type is blocked.

Hi Aditya 

In either ways we can create a custom groups and permissions for both outbound and inbound in most of the SMTP filters

But in exchange there is no option to create custom entries for few users only

Can you please check your gw logs and see if this emails are stuck

Thanks All ... going with Sathish I am now confirmed we got no way to make exception for a particular user , indeed it is to be modified for all as "Andy David" suggested.
