Alias Changed after Upgrading to Exchange 2013 SP1

We are running Exchange 2013 CU9.  I found out today that there are departments and managers running reports that pull from the Alias field in Exchange.  Pre-2013, the Alias was FirstName, LastInitial.  Our reports were off today because a user who was created on the new system now has an alias of FirstInitial,LastName.  Is there a way to change this globally, so that all aliases are FirstName,LastInitial.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you gentlemen for your feedback.  Is this a known issue when migrating from 2010 > 2013?  I am trying to understand why the change occurred.  Also, with the script you provided, would this make the change for only existing accounts or would it encompass future accounts as well.  I am just wondering if we are going to need to update the help desk procedures when creating new users.  Thank you again for your feedback.  It is very much appreciated.

You didn't say how you're creating the recipients.  If the EAC doesn't do things the way you want it, you could write your own provisioning script.  The EAC uses the "Name" field for the alias, from what I can see.  You are welcome to go back in and edit the newly-created mailbox and change the alias since it's clearly shown in the Edit wizard.
