After router rebuild caused external IP address change, mail certificate error -> disconnected

Server 2012 R2

Exchange 2013 SP1

My router failed and I had to replace it as well as cable modem (fried). That caused Comcast to issue me a new external IP address. I reconfigured the port forwarding to the correct version and changed my Godaddy pointers for mail.mydomain.com. AutoDiscover points correctly. I can ping mail & autodiscover and the external IP address is correct.

Problem:

1. When I open EAC on exchange server, I get a certificate error upon open. I can logon. The certificate name  is the correct one, mail.mydomain.com

2. Outlook client cannot connect. I tried repair and get error: problem with proxy server security certificate. The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the target mail.mydomain.com Error code 10.

I made no changes to the configuration nor certificate before the router & cable modem failure. How do I get this corrected?

Thanks

Thanks, I found that during the rebuild of the router port forwarding, I sent port 443 to the wrong server. I changes it to point Exchange and all is working now.
