After moving OAB from EX2003 to EX2007, it is showed in ADSIEdit as by owned by the EX2003
Hello, In a migration from ex2003 to ex2007. I moved OAB from ex2003 to ex2007:Move-OfflineAddressBook -Identity <OAB> -Server <Server>I can see that this is correct in the Exchange2007 console, Mailbox, OAB: it is owned by the new 2007 server. But, If I make an ExBPA in the 2007, it displays me that the OAB site public folder deleted (because I deleted the Public folder store in the ex2003, im in the last steps...). In ADSIEdit, i can see that the default Offline Adress List has it siteFolderServer ponting to the old ex2003...I have outlook 2003 clients... If I turn off the EX2003 server, everything its ok...but...am I going to have problems when I deleted the ex2003 server???thanks a lot

It is better to change the siteFolderServer pointing to the ex2007 server. or else it may create schedule free busy issues. Make a cross check of your other settings on exchange 207 server before you delete the exchange 2003 server Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Hi,Did you create Public Folder in Exchange 2007 in order to make legacy Outlook clients work normally? If you already did it, you can deletethe Exchange 2003 safely.ThanksAllen

I have changed the site FolderServer in the adsiedti. Now its pointing to the exchange 2007 server. I didNOT make the "normal" step of : "On your Exchange2003 or Exchange2000 server, perform the following steps to move the public folder hierarchy from the Exchange2003 or Exchange2000 administrative group to the Exchange2007 administrative group: In Exchange System Manager, expand Administrative Groups, right-click Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT), select New, and then select Public Folders Container. Expand the Exchange2003 or Exchange2000 administrative group that contains the public folder tree, expand Folders, and then drag Public Folders to Folders under the Exchange2007 administrative group. " But, I solucionated it, re-creating the hierarchy folder in the adsiedit....Will now be preparete for the last one?
