Hi,

As far as I know, the Microsoft Access Reserved Error 5016 error may be caused by windows system files damage. The corrupted system files entries can be a real threat to the well being of your computer.

There can be many events which may have resulted in the system files errors. An incomplete installation, an incomplete uninstall, improper deletion of applications or hardware. It can also be caused if your computer is recovered from a virus or adware/spyware attack or by an improper shutdown of the computer. All the above actives may result in the deletion or corruption of the entries in the windows system files. This corrupted system file will lead to the missing and wrongly linked information and files needed for the proper working of the application.

Please try this method:

1) Start your computer and log on as an administrator.

2) Click the Start button then select All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then click System Restore.

3) In the new window, select "Restore my computer to an earlier time" option and then click Next.

4) Select the most recent system restore point from the "On this list, click a restore point" list, and then click Next.

5) Click Next on the confirmation window.

6) Restarts the computer when the restoration is finished.

Hope it's helpful.

Hi George,

as I wrote this issue appeared after Windows 10 installation.

I don't have the chance to go back to a previous point.Or I should go back to Windows 8.1

Is there a way to find the problem diefferent to delete my work of 1 month?

I think this is a Microsoft issue and they should find the way....

Thx

Hi Antoroxx

We have definitely heard your frustration, and we're thinking about ways to make this scenario work better for our customers. As I mentioned above, this issue is related to Windows system files damage, we might need to restore system. If you do not have restore point yet, please try to run SFC and check if it is helpful.

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki/windows_10-update/system-file-check-sfc-scan-and-repair-system-files/bc609315-da1f-4775-812c-695b60477a93

Then, I have seen several customers that have the same issue after Windows 10 installation on Microsoft forum. Thus, I have collected the info of this issue and submit with our interval ways. If we have any update, we'll post in our forum. We also can force on Office official blog.

Thanks for your understanding.
