Advanced Search is missing for some users
When working in Outlook WebAccess (Exchange 2007 sp1), the Advanced Search option is missing for some users. Accually the arrows to show the Advanced Search options are missing. Does anyone have the same issue? I can't find any options in OWA or in Outlook 2003. So not in Outlook (desktop) but in Outlook Web Access! Thanks in advance

Hi, You need to install Windows Desktop Search 3.01 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917013 Here are other reasons you have trouble with Outlook 2007 Search http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/known_issues.htm#search Hope this helps!Anil

Hi Anil, Thanks for your reply, i don't think Windows Desktop Search will help. We have this issue on our Windows 2003 Terminal servers, If other users with the same permissions login to OWA, they can access the Advanced Search options. Even if i login to OWA on my (Windows 7) laptop with my credentials, i can access the Advanced Search options, and if i login with the users credentials, a can't.... Marcel
