Administrator Mailbox pointed to old crash test Exchange 2007 server
I had a test Exchange 2007 running in Window 2008, we found that we did not have enough hard drive space so we upgraded the drives without uninstalling exchange.
Now the domain administrator account has this message WARNING: Database is mandatory on UserMailbox.
And will not allow me to change it.
Disabling the account and recreating it is not a good idea, cause it is exchange master account.
But due this problem I cannot get Outlook Anywhere to work, HELP!!!

Hi,
First please check HomeMDB value for administrator via ADSIEDIT. Compare the value with the good mailboxes.
1. You can use ADSIEDIT to copy the homeMDB value a txt file
2. Then clear the value for homeMDB.
3. Please perform AD replication.
4. Then put back the homeMDB value.
Note: Please install Windows Support Tools to obtain ADSIEDIT.EXE.
Also you can use ADmodify tool to temporarily point the problematic mailbox to a different homeMDB value temporarily, then set the homeMDB to the correct value.
